Energy Work
Unlocking healing Potential: the Transformative Power of energy work
Energy Work refers to healing modalities focused on working with the body’s energy system, “life force,” or what is referred to in some disciplines as “chi” or “qi.” Suzy has been an occupational therapist for many years and has also studied and taught several energy healing modalities, including Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, Quantum Touch, and Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing (ARCH).
Suzy currently practices and teaches Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing (ARCH), which is unique among the forms. ARCH gently assists the client in discovering and releasing the origins of illness, but it is more of an active or shared experience, rather than something implemented by the practitioner on a passive recipient. This ancient method is effective in promoting health on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. ARCH offers a natural approach that is profoundly relaxing and revitalizing, helping the client move toward a state of tranquility, or “theta” brainwave state, which is associated with creativity, “flow,” or intuitive insight. During a session, a client typically relaxes on a massage table while fully clothed. Using guided imagery and gentle therapeutic touch, Suzy facilitates a process wherein a client actively identifies and releases whatever they would like to release; the client is also engaged in visualizing their highest potential. The remainder of the session is performed with a client resting in silence, or with relaxing music, as Suzy continues with therapeutic touch combined with healing intention for the client. The results are unique to the individual, but a client can expect to feel deeply relaxed, with a sense of renewal and vitality.
