Craniosacral Therapy + SomatoEmotional Release (SER)
What is craniosacral therapy?
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle and non-invasive holistic approach to healing that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the bones, membranes, and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Our occupational therapist, Suzy, utilizes her hands to evaluate and enhance the natural rhythmic movements of this system, encouraging the body's self-healing abilities. By employing subtle and precise techniques, Craniosacral Therapy aims to release restrictions and imbalances that may be causing discomfort or disrupting the optimal functioning of the central nervous system.
SomatoEmotional Release (SER), an integral part of Craniosacral Therapy, delves even deeper into the mind-body connection. It acknowledges that emotional experiences and trauma can manifest as physical symptoms or restrictions within the body. SER combines therapeutic dialogue, guided imagery, and gentle touch to facilitate the release of emotional energy trapped within tissues and organs, allowing for profound healing and personal transformation.
Suzy is committed to providing exceptional Craniosacral Therapy work and incorporating the powerful techniques of SomatoEmotional Release. She works to create a safe and supportive environment, tailored to each individual's unique needs, to help them achieve holistic balance, relieve pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
